Years of studying human psychology, cognitive biases, logical fallacies, the mechanics of deception, and the inner workings of high control religions and conspiracy movements have given me a toolkit for spotting misinformation.
So that's what I do. I dig into BS, propaganda and dogma, religious extremism and conspiracy theories, pseudo-science and pseudo-history of all stripes. I talk to the leading experts in their fields, travel on-site to test claims where I can, and bring back what I find.
