Welcome to Just for the Fun of It my little corner of retro computing and old-school gaming 👾 Here you’ll find videos about the Commodore computers like the Commodore 64 and VIC-20 that shaped my early computing years. From games on tape, disk, and cartridge, to small Commodore BASIC experiments, graphics tricks, sprites, PETSCII art, and memory-hacking curiosities it’s all here, simply because it’s fun to explore. Sometimes it’s a quick YouTube Short showing a classic game, sometimes a deeper dive into how things work under the hood, and sometimes just a small BASIC program I wrote to see if it could be done. No hype, no speed-runs — just curiosity, nostalgia, and a lot of experimenting, just like 40 years ago.
