Steve Layton used to be part of the Tropic Four which is now better known as the Kingston Trio. When in collage he was friends with Dave Guard and they went and formed and played in the Tropic Four in the San Francisco area with Bob Shane, and Nick Reynolds until he was drafted into the marines by the time he came out they had already become famous and he went and started a family. Then in 2004 he recorded this album and collection of some of the songs he either made or versions of songs that are hard to find or do not exist anymore. He is unable to perform these songs the same as he does in these videos and soon to iTunes. We hope you enjoy if you like please tell us so we continue to put his songs on thank you.
